Busy, busy, busy...

We've been busy around here lately with several projects in the works all at once plus playing with the grand daughters whenever possible.

I am trying to stock as much product at my booth at Consignments Plus as I can.  There is an open house scheduled for September 7th from 6-9:00 p.m.  If any of you live in the Louisville area and can come by, it sounds like a nice evening.  They will be having live music, food, prizes and give-a ways.  This store is located at 5622 Bardstown Road in Fern Creek behind MacDonalds.  This store is a really well-run operation that is more upscale than some of the other local Peddler's Malls.

I am also trying to develop an inventory for an art show I am doing in November.  Since I just started crafting again, I am having to start from scratch with the basics.  I certainly appreciate the inspiration that my fellow bloggers are providing to get me motivated.  That brings me to my point... (finally)... I wanted to show you some of the inspirations I have run with.  I am really impressed with the artwork of Dawn Edmonson with The Feathered Nest.  Dawn has some fabulous tutorials for sale and  I purchased several and wanted to show what I've come up with.  Her tutorials are well worth the $5 cost and are very detailed and well written.  Here is the one I started with per Dawn's instruction...

Then inspiration struck...

Then I tried my hand at doing some miniature photos...

These small photos are from an old family photo album that was falling apart so I decided to help it along a little bit.  The photo on the left is of my mother-in-law (on the right) and her sister (on the left).

Anyway, I have had a good time working on these and hopefully I will improve my designs as I progress.

Thank you to the Graphics Fairy for the great photos I used.
